Farm Chores Activity
Purposeful Tasks. Familiar Routines. Meaningful Engagement.
For many men, farm life wasn’t just work — it was pride, responsibility, and rhythm. The early mornings. The steady routines. The satisfaction of a job well done.
Farm Chores is a hands-on activity designed especially for senior men living with memory loss or dementia. It taps into familiar roles and lifelong skills by inviting participants to complete a simple, achievable task: check the list and gather what’s needed on the farm.
How It Works
Each session includes clear, easy-to-read checklists with four farm-related items to “find.”
Participants search through picture pieces and place the correct images onto the farm board — completing their chores for the day.
Simple. Structured. Successful.
There are no complicated rules and no pressure — just the quiet satisfaction of finishing a task.
